Whoosh!

So I got a chance to participate in the UW Street Fair last weekend and it was great! These two illustrations were new for the booth, the ballerina is a coloring of an old inktober sketch and the squirrel is the star of my new business cards! In conjunction with that, I have opened an Etsy shop! Check it out at https://www.etsy.com/shop/ewyant !

The theme for last week's sketch_dailies was outlaws! Blackbeard was in the previous post, and here we have Bonnie and Clyde, Robin Hood, and Billy the Kid!

Sketch Dailies!

Blackbeard

Jessica Rabbit

Cleopatra

I've been able to participate a few times in twitter's sketch_dailies! It's basically the newest, hippest drawing club on the block with a different topic every day. These were some of the topics last week. Everyone should give it a try, or a least check out all of the awesome art coming out of it.

Art for others

The top is my piece for the Very Merry Art Trade that happened over the holidays. I didn't want to post it until I knew it had been delivered. The bottom is part of a piece I've been working on for a friend.

The Ring of the Nibelung

A few doodles of a rhinemaiden, Brunnhilde, and Siegfried from Wagner's Ring of the Nibelung (the operas from which Tolkien first stole the Precious). My dad calls it the Disney version of Norse mythology, if Disney was a little more doom and gloom. At some point I'll try to do some real illustrations from the story.

Wow, I'm surprised I've made it this far! Ink is hard...
