This is a rough concept for another character I thought of doing. The colors looks terrible here, but it gets the point across. He also has a supply bag I didn't finish. I'll probably try again soon. There are a number of things I would like to change so suggestions are welcome.
I really like the way this turned out. I'd say the only thing I'd wanna see different is his hair style like you had in the earlier sketch ---> like this image

I liked that tuft of hair in the center of his head that went over his forehead. Gave him more character. But it's entirely possible that it only appeals to me.
I agree with kieran on the hair thing.
