So I got a chance to participate in the UW Street Fair last weekend and it was great! These two illustrations were new for the booth, the ballerina is a coloring of an old inktober sketch and the squirrel is the star of my new business cards! I've been able to participate a few times in twitter's sketch_dailies! It's basically the newest, hippest drawing club on the block with a different topic every day. These were some of the topics last week. Everyone should give it a try, or a least check out all of the awesome art coming out of it.

The top is my piece for the Very Merry Art Trade that happened over the holidays. I didn't want to post it until I knew it had been delivered. The bottom is part of a piece I've been working on for a friend.

Some things I've been working on lately. The top is part of an illustration I'm doing as a Christmas gift, and the rest brush pen sketches. The tourists were for a book project my sister was working on.

The Ring of the Nibelung

A few doodles of a rhinemaiden, Brunnhilde, and Siegfried from Wagner's Ring of the Nibelung (the operas from which Tolkien first stole the Precious). My dad calls it the Disney version of Norse mythology, if Disney was a little more doom and gloom. At some point I'll try to do some real illustrations from the story.
